SUSU Student Association of Environmental Activists Took Part in the All-Russian Waste Paper Collection Campaign

The CLEVER Student Association of Environmental Activists became a participant in the BoomBattle All-Russian Waste Paper Collection Campaign in support of the Ecology national project, which is being implemented by decision of the President of Russia.

In the new season, the event was held under the auspices of the Ecosystem All-Russian Environmental Movement. BoomBattle provides an opportunity to show concern for nature through collecting and sorting paper. But, like any battle, it is also a competition in the amount of waste paper collected, where you can compete for championship in the individual or team competition.

By participating in the Clean SUSU campaign, university students managed to collect 1715 kg of paper, which will be sent for recycling. In addition, 20 kg of cardboard, 10 kg of caps, and 10 kg of PET bottles were collected.

The Clean SUSU campaign had been held for the first time in 2021, and its volunteers managed to collect about 7 tons of waste paper and about 1 ton of other types of waste up until now.
