Nowadays many students want to continue their education abroad. It can be said not only about Russian students but foreign as well. Our university cooperates with many foreign universities around the world, and their students knock on the doors of our university, considering the education that they can get in the South Ural State University, as worthy and prestigious.
So, foreign students in order to have an opportunity to study in SUSU have to get acquainted with the procedure of recognition. What is it? The recognition of foreign education and (or) foreign qualification refers to confirmation of the significance (level) obtained in a foreign state of education and (or) a foreign qualification in order to ensure the access of its owner to the formation and implementation of professional activity in the South Ural state University. Recognition in the University is realized by Expert centre of evaluation of education documents of Department of international cooperation.
Now let’s briefly consider the procedure of recognition:
- First of all, the student should make an application in which he or she must include:
a) surname, name, patronymic name (the last - at presence) of the owner;
b) requisites of the document proving the identity of the owner, his address, phone number (if available), email address (if available);
c) name and requisites of the document of foreign education and (or) foreign qualification;
d) name of the organization that issued the document of foreign education and (or) foreign qualification;
e) the name of the foreign state on which territory the foreign education and (or) foreign qualification was received;
f) an indication of the consent of the holder of a foreign education and (or) a foreign qualification or his legal representative to the processing of personal data.
- Besides, in addition to the application there must be the following documents:
a) the original document of the foreign education and (or) a foreign qualification and its supplements
b) a certified copy and translation of the document proving the identity of a foreign owner of education and (or) a foreign qualification
c) a duly certified translation or a copy of the document about the foreign education and (or) a foreign qualification and its supplemets, including the translation of seals
d) power of attorney issued in the prescribed manner and duly certified translation of attorney into Russian
That's actually all that is required from the student, and the rest - is the work of employees of the Expert centre of evaluation of education documents.
